Set on the ground floor of an old stone barn, The Shavings offers comfortable, welcoming accommodation. This is an ideal location for making the most of what’s on offer in the area – there are plenty of varied and enjoyable walks from the door, not to mention a choice of renowned cycle trails within easy reach. Add to that the wonderful surrounding countryside, theme parks, historic houses and market towns (offering delicious locally produced food and drink!) and you are left in no doubt that The Shavings is a wonderfully welcoming and economical base for a relaxing holiday in the Peak District.
