Doorman, 34, stabbed in stomach

A doorman is in hospital after being stabbed in the stomach outside a bar in Derby.

Police said the victim was attacked by a man outside the Walkabout bar on Market Place 30 minutes after he refused him entry.

He is now in a stable condition at the Royal Derby Hospital after the incident which happened at 2115 GMT on Wednesday.

A 45-year-old man has been arrested and is being questioned by police.
