The Cat and Fiddle road, dubbed the most dangerous in Britain, is to be monitored with average speed cameras.
The cameras are expected to be in use by the end of March. They have been designed to minimize the impact on the landscape.

How many more reports of muggings, knife attacks or women assaulted in the poorly lit areas of the TOWN CENTRE do we have to read before something is done?
Universities in England should charge tuition fees of at least £5,000 a year and create a real market with a range of fees, the Policy Exchange think tank has said. It calls for an end to the entitlement of all students to ‘interest free’ Government loans.

A search has resumed for a missing man following a fire at a Derbyshire cottage.
Firefighters from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue were called to the property in Sheen, near Buxton on Monday 8th February.
Two brothers lived at the house and while one was away, the other is still unaccounted for.

A new green logo will be compulsory from 1st July for all pre-packaged organic food. Existing national logos will be allowed to appear next to the EU logo.
The logo will be applied to pre-packaged organic food produced in any of the 27 EU member states.
